Myths About Making Money Online

Stop Being On The Wrong Side Of The Window

(Quiz yourself - true or false?)

#7: FREE MONEY

How many times have you heard this in your travels, sign up and get free money! Or, how to know if you are cut out for Affiliate Marketing, all you gotta do is sign up! Or something of that nature.

Nothing is FREE especially money, the last time someone had a bank account full of free money it turned out to be counterfiet. The one thing about money and making money is -- it has to come from somewhere and if you can't figure out where it's going to come from then there's a good chance it doesn't exist.

The best and most popular 'free money' trick is the one that loads your account with $10 or $20 bucks when you sign up, then you notice a minimum payout request of $50 or $100 dollars. Ok, thats fine and dandy. What you don't realize is that most people drop out in frustration after earning just a dollar or two with the system, the sheer amount of clicking, writing, waiting, viewing, reading, ect, ect is just too intense and time consuming to make it worth while, but that deal was so enticing that you had to sign up and give it a try.

To break down what happens is the websites cycling effect. You signed up and gave them your email address so you are now a potential future sale. You used the system and made a few dollars; this in turn made the website a few more dollars. You dropped out, this gives the website BACK the money you got signing up AND the money you made using their system, they win again. It's a good business model for the website that probably pays out 1 person per 1000 if any at all, their service gets completed, they bank 99% to 100% of their service money, and you are a future sale.  Plus, the cycle repeats itself with new people every day.

But this is just one example, bottom line is money is not free and you're going to end up working for it no matter what anyone says  :-)

did you miss this one?  Just check your ads.

Read 'em and weep.

Don't ignore the truth behind these myths.

Now the real kicker to watch out for is 'do you get paid directly or not', if not there is a HIGH chance the admin will peace out with your money because there is usually a reason you don't pay each other directly... Don't get me wrong there ARE lots of good admins who run these programs so I'm not pointing any fingers or bashing. A good admin is the guy who launches the program, pays everyone he is supposed to, makes a few dollars for himself and then opens a new site when he sees that his client pool has dried up.

And some food for thought, if you know a good admin who runs these types of programs on a regular basis, slip him $20 bucks and tell him to tell you the instant he reveals his next project because as you know whomever gets in first makes all the money :- )
